| Re: Motorcycle Club-Riding Club Education On the other thread Question I too posted these links they are good and could save a "bad ass" from being "educated" as I was once in fla 20 some years ago. Diesel is right , there are a few places here in Vegas one "biker Bar" in fact that will not allow "Colors" but a jacket or vest with "flash Patches " are ok I see it as a violation of my 1st ammendment rights and choose to go else where. There are differences between Riding Clubs (RC) and Associations (ASSOC) and a Traditionial Motorcycle club (MC) * you join an Assoc you GET things out of it -you join a MC you GIVE* there are 3pc -2pc-and 1 pc Patch clubs some are non territorial others are. not all are 1% which only denotes that the club is primary to its members over all else. but all MC have a commitment to their Club and Cut or Colors Colors are Earned! you can't BUY a MC patch and giving and Getting respect is paramount to the Club and its members. In the MC world there is a Hierarcy- "Its just the way it is. and in fact works well to keep all Clubs free to ride" this site might help you I have all my Prospects read it. it is very General and not absolute but very well written. http://home.earthlink.net/~rcvsmc-edu/id11.html MC/RC Differences http://home.earthlink.net/~rcvsmc-edu/id12.html __________________ RESPECTFULLY, Renegade ![]() Patched Bikers Know True Brotherhood |

| Re: Motorcycle Club-Riding Club Education Sorry Renegade. I should have looked around before posting. I didn't realize that you had already covered this and posted a link with the information. It's good stuff and probably doesn't hurt to have it in a couple of areas. As mentioned it's great education for newbies and I think it's also good for those that have been around but have egnored the whole scene. Update: Crap, I even posted in your post Renegade! I've got to take inventory of the brain cells. I must be back to one and it's gotta be fairly flat. Geeze. . .I'm getting old. | Re: Motorcycle Club-Riding Club Education Wow, this topic goes back a couple of years. The OL and myself have been going to public invite overnighters, fundraisers, picnics, poker runs, you name it, of various MC's since the 70's. We have always found the patched members of the clubs to be the most gracious hosts and providers of a great time. We feel completely at home and safe in the presence of the club members. We will continue to support certain clubs and their affilates due to the way we have been treated as their guests over the years. AP __________________ |
