| Re: Suspect in killing of San Francisco Hells Angels president arrested in Oklahoma To add to that, a motorcyclist was possibly shot to death on his bike on a freeway transition road here in the LA area early this morning. It was not determined that he was a member of any MC, but the individual that was riding with him when the possible shooting took place stopped to render help and had removed his jacket and shirt for some reason. He was tatted up with M*NG*LS on his back and witnesses say he had the same thing on the patch on his jacket. Now why in the world would anybody want to shoot someone on a bike, especially one of those guys? Roadrage maybe? AP |

| Re: Suspect in killing of San Francisco Hells Angels president arrested in Oklahoma Here's the story: MSNBC.comDead Motorist Found On Glendale Freeway Connector KNBC-TV updated 12:17 p.m. PT, Wed., Oct. 8, 2008 GLENDALE, Calif. - A section of the 210 Freeway reopened Wednesday morning after the discovery of a dead motorist forced road closures. Video A motorcyclist was found dead, shutting down portions of the 210 and 2 freeways, KNBC's John Cadiz Klemack reported. The victim was shot once, lost control of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and crashed, police said. Police were still investigating the incident and said a motive was unclear. "If shots were fired, it could be a road rage situation, it could be an unknown suspect. We just don't know what precipitated the events," said Glendale police Sgt. Tom Lorenz. Firefighters and California Highway Patrol officers responding to the scene found the motorcycle in the bushes alongside the connector road and the deceased rider nearby, an On Scene Video camera crew reported. Motorists traveling on the northbound 2 were diverted off at the Mountain Street exit during the investigation, said CHP Officer David Porter. Police said they were unsure if the shooting was related to a biker gang conflict. A shirtless witness at the scene who police said was an associate of the victim had a tattoo on his back that said "Mongols" -- likely referring to the Mongols Motorcycle Club, a motorcycle gang founded in Montebello in the 1970s. Police said that as day broke, friends of the victim arrived at the scene and were cooperating with authorities. "There was an individual here (who) did display some outlaw motorcycle gang, say, T-shirts, paraphernalia, stuff like that. We are talking to that individual now. I understand he was an associate of the person that has been killed here, but I can't tell you whether the actual person that is deceased here is a member of that particular gang," Lorenz said.
