Hi from Oregon

Hi to you all,
I am new to this forum, however not to Harley's.
I have a old "rat" Sportster 1972 with a right hand shift. (think break left, break left, break left) It was hard for me to re-train myself, but I am doing OK I have not hit anything or dumped it, so I must be catching on.
Bought my first Harley as a seinor in Highschool, for $350.00
It was and I say was a 1936 knucklehead stock as a rock, and I drove it home!!! Of course I don't have it now, sure wish I did however.
I sold it for $1,000.00 and thought I made out great at the time.
Oh well that was years ago.
That's my story and I am sticking to it.

I think it would be great to have a rat bike. They get more looks that anything else and they just seem to run forever. The only thing is that it would need to stay outside until its house broken......
