Hi all, checking in from Baghdad / Camp victory - sure miss riding and my wife - in that order... Really sick, huh? I am a civilian working in country for 10-months now and plan on being here for a year or longer.

Actually considered shipping a bike over at one time to ride around the IZ or Camp Victory - sure would be a kick... But have been moving around the country too much.

I have seen a lot of sacrifice here on the part of our solders, marines, and sailors –These men and women carry out their missions in 115 to 130 degree summer heat and do it because the volunteered. Respect them and thank them when you see one in an airport or restaurant, tell them you are grateful for their service and sacrifice. Let them know how much you appreciate them and may God bless ‘em all.

Welcome! I always support our troops, out there in harm's way. They're doing the toughest job, and deserve more than anyone can give them. You civilian contractors gotta have some big brass ones, too, just for being over there! Keep your head down!

welcome to the board I have one son over there in the sandbox right now got a nephew in-law on his way over and got another son that already did his time there even voluentered to go back
