Re: For the veterans

US Air Force 1966 to 1970. Viet Nam 1968/69. If you ever see a documentary about the siege of Hue, was there. First tour Tacital Micro-Wave. Second was Electronic Warfare (made airplanes invisible, scared the shit out of the gooks.)

Motosurf--
I always wanted to be a Naval Aviator but my eyesight went south in high school. Out of the three aircraft you flew, which was your favorite? I always had a thing for the F-4 when I was a kid.

I too like the F-4 and requested it after flight school as there were two squadrons, VF-151 and VF-161, still flying them off the USS Midway, but I didn't get orders to fly them. My favorite aircraft is the F/A-18 Hornet because of it's technology advantage and manuverability. I flew hornets for 75% of my career and loved every minute! The only negative aspect of being in a Fighter squadron is the increase in administrative duties and paperwork as I went up the promotion ladder!
