Switched my TV & Web from Comcast to ATT

Ok, I'm curious what service other people are using and if you're happy with it. I have been using Comcast for 18 months and for some stupid reason I never called and complained about the rate they were charging. I got sucked into that "$39 for 6 months" kind of crap and once the 6 months was up they were hitting me pretty damn hard to the tune of $175 per month!! I know, outrageous. I had 6Mbs cable HSIA and my TV is 2 units, one standard vanilla TV and one HD/DVR with HBO only.

So anyhow I keep hearing about the new TV services from ATT so I called and set it up. Turns out they got me faster web and all the premium channels for $140 per month. Also, I get $100 cash back and I get my first month free. So I am planning on enjoying the premium channels and then calling and dropping my service to no premiums and it will probably be about $100 per month total!! I like it.

I have AT&T phone, internet, and Dish Network for the last 2 years... no complaints and rates are decent.

I have AT&T cell, land line and internet. Still have cable for TV, gonna change to Dish when I get a roundtuit.
Lessee, cell is 42 a month, phone is 22 and internet is 25. Then another 53 for the cable.

I have had DirctTV sattelite for about 10 years...I love it. Best thing ever. Prior to that I have had Dish Network whick should be call Dick Network..bunch of a-holes work there. Have had Comcast as well and it always went out at the inopportune time. I cant say I have ever had DirectTV go out.

The only problem I have with Direct TV is the Tivo will try to record premium channels I don't get...or Spanish stations...stupid...

Strange, I have never had that happen. Do you have Tivo set up to record what they think is a show you would like? I turned all that crap off. Only records what I tell it to. I love the season pass though.

Oh, for internet I have AT&T 6 gb down. Cell is AT&T also.

I had no idea they had one that would record shows it thinks you might like... haha... what a fricken joke. I hope those bastards don't start thinking they know me.

I was fairly happy with the Comcast DVR but it would get overloaded sometimes and not respond to the remote for 60 to 90 seconds, and then suddenly it would wake up and freak out because of all the buttons I pushed while it was in a coma. This ATT deal seems to be a little more responsive that way, but only time will tell.

The one thing I notice so far is it doesn't tell you how much space you are using for the recordings. Maybe it will warn me when I get more stuff saved.

I just checked it out, they do not offer it at my address. I have been looking for other options other than comcast, the service just sucks! I really do not want a dish on my house so I guess I will have to wait!
