West Coast Bikers is asking our community to support the "Ride for Kids". This is a ride put on all over the country by the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation to raise money in search of a cure for childhood brain tumors.

The topic of childhood brain cancer is painfully familiar to my family. My nephew, Justin Hardeman died June 30, 2005 at the tender age of two, after an 11 month battle with an ATRT brain tumor. This website is an intimate account of one family's experience: Justin Hardeman.

Last year my wife and I rode in the Sacramento ride, and raised $1,800.00. This year we are riding in the June 25th ride in Pleasanton, California and hope to raise $5,000.00 for the Pediatric Brian Tumor Foundation.
