You might be asking yourself why you should register with Westcoastbikers.com. You already have the ability to view and search through all of the information on our site without registering. However, you don't have the ability to interact with and build the site. We have plans to continue to add functionality to the site which only registered members are able to access. Below is a list of some of the features you'll have access to as a registered member.

Blogs and Commenting: If you'd like to comment on the Content on our site you will have to register. We do not allow anonymous comments at Westcoastbikers.com. All of our members are allowed to keep their own blogs, much like other community blogs. The blogs should be primarily related to our Mission and Purpose, but the occasional fun entry is ok too. If your blog is particularly interesting or generates a lot of discussion it may be promoted to the front page for maximum visibility.

Create Content: One of the goals of Westcoastbikers.com is to allow some of our information to be maintained by the community much like the concept behind Wikipedia. Members will be able to edit some of the information such as alternatives, company contact information, etc., to keep it updated. We aslo encourage community reporting community content creation. We will continue to enhance this feature with time, but for now this feature is only available to "Trusted Users". You can become a "Trusted User" with consistent and quality contributions to the site.

Forums: Westcoastbikers.com has many types of discussion forums.. This is a good place to share your experiences, discuss rumors and find facts or post information about the Vtwin Community and Motorcycles. The forums are all about information sharing and connection with your fellow bikers.

Private Messages: If you are familiar with popular Online Bulletin Board products then you are likely familiar with this feature. A private message is similar to an email, but you can only exchange them with other members on the site and you also read them on the site. There are two advantages to this method of communication. First, you can communicate with other members on the site without revealing your email address to them in correspondence. Secondly, since the private messages are built right into the site it is easy to quickly send someone a message and continue browsing.

Classified Advertising: For our registered users we offer free classified ads. You can post as many ads as you like.
